Highland Roots Learning Academy is a full-service tutoring studio and local education store in the Haliburton Highlands. Serving families across Haliburton County, Muskoka, and Kawartha Lakes, the Academy provides personalized in-person and online tutoring that builds confidence, strengthens core skills, and supports lasting academic success.
Elementary (Grades 1-6) and middle school (Grades 7-8) students develop strong foundations in reading, writing, math, and essential learning skills. High school students (Grades 9–12) receive focused support in English, Mathematics, and the Sciences, strengthening problem-solving and critical-thinking skills while gaining clarity and confidence in their coursework.
Academic Coaching for Grades 8–12 helps students develop organization, time management, and goal-setting strategies that foster independence and long-term success.
Located within the same welcoming space, 'The Learning Shelf' offers carefully selected Ontario curriculum workbooks, reading and spelling supports, math practice materials, and hands-on learning games for Kindergarten through Grade 12.
