KUMON Intro to Geometry: Grades 6–8 builds foundational geometry understanding through clear, step-by-step practice aligned with Ontario mathematics expectations for the Geometry and Spatial Sense strand. This workbook introduces core concepts and prepares students for more advanced geometry.
Students develop skills in scale drawings, cross-sections of 3-D figures, properties of triangles and quadrilaterals, angle relationships, area, surface area and volume, basic coordinate geometry, and introductory geometric reasoning. Carefully sequenced practice builds understanding, accuracy, and confidence.
Unlike KUMON Geometry Grades 6–8, which covers more advanced topics such as congruence, similarity (dilation), and deeper geometric relationships, Intro to Geometry focuses on building the foundational concepts needed for success in middle-school mathematics. Ideal for review, strengthening understanding, or preparing for Grade 7–9 geometry.
