Build place value understanding through exciting dinosaur-themed play.
Dino Math Tracks turns math practice into an adventure as players race their dinosaurs along the colourful game board while solving number challenges. As children move along the track, they practise building and comparing numbers while strengthening their understanding of place value, addition, subtraction, and number relationships.
By rolling the dice and creating numbers with the place value cards, players explore how digits combine to form larger numbers. This hands-on gameplay helps children visualize ones, tens, and hundreds, making abstract math concepts easier to understand.
Through play, children strengthen number sense, mental math strategies, and logical thinking while also practising turn-taking, strategy, and problem-solving.
Dino Math Tracks supports expectations connected to the Ontario Mathematics Curriculum (Number strand), helping students develop place value understanding, number comparison, and addition and subtraction strategies commonly introduced in the early elementary grades.
With dinosaur tokens and an engaging race-to-the-finish format, the game encourages repeated practice while keeping children motivated and excited about learning math.
